Aishwarya Rai looked like an angel in a white floral embroidery blouse top at the launch of Guzaarish first look on September 23′ 2010. Someone correctly mentioned, that “Aishwarya makes good styling look effortless, something it is not, even when you are so insanely beautiful”. She paired her dark blue jeans with three quarter length sleeve top that had keyhole bateau neckline and scalloped hem. She accessorized with black heels, stud earrings, a gold bangle in her left arm, a watch in her right arm, and rings on both her hands. Her dark brown hair, styled in loose waves, framed her face and draped her shoulders.

“Guzaarish is a very very special film and a very very special team that has come together,” Aishwarya told the assembled press. “Everybody has worked passionately for it. It is a beautiful piece of cinema and we are all very proud of it.”

Hrithik said his role in Guzaarish was his most difficult as well as the easiest. “Easiest because I managed to essay it under the guidance of Bhansali,” said the actor.

Guzaarish is Aishwarya’s third film with Bhansali. While each film with the director is an amazing experience, the latest project was exceptional, said the actress.

“Guzaarish is a beautiful piece of cinema,” she said. When asked about she and Hrithik being referred to as the magical pair of silver screen having delivered hits like Dhoom 2 and Jodha Akbar, Aishwarya said she works with directors and not co-stars.

“We actors play characters that the director envisages. I am fortunate to have worked with wonderful co-stars throughout my career,” she said.

Bhansali refused to divulge details of the film saying it was too early to do so. “The film is about the beauty, hope and the joy of living,” he said. Bhansali has debuted as a music composer for the film. “I did the music because I understand the characters well. This was just an experiment. There are eight songs in the film and 12 in the music album,” said the director.

It’s the world premiere of Mani Ratnam’s movie “Raavan” and the lovely couple Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan arrives in London in style. Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan with wife Jaya Bachchan also came along at the premiere along with the director Mani Ratnam and music guru A.R. Rehman!

The Bachchan’s family along with the cast and crew of “Raavan” arrived at British Film Institute Southbank complex next to the River Thames in central London where they were treated with red carpet with lots and lots of fans arriving to get a glimpse of the stars.

Aishwarya Rai looked resplendent and excruciatingly beautiful in a heavily embroidered Sabyasachi saree. The saree was pretty good, but Oh My God! The blouse was really really terrible. She walked the red carpet with husband Abhishek Bachchan wearing a long sleeve, high blouse with a boat neck that awkwardly revealed a lot of midriff through the sheer pallav of the sari. We didn’t get the point of combining a very modest neckline with a very immodest hemline making the blouse look like something you could wear to the gym for a workout. :lol .

Her blouse sleeves were covered with heavy white floral embroidery. Aishwarya Rai, accessorized with a black studded purse, diamond drop earrings and multiple rings in both her hands. Her hair was retro styled in a face slimming bouffant updo. Her make up was also pretty much retro style: Pink lip color, metallic eye shadow and thick black extended eye liner.

Shah Rukh Khan, wife Gauri and their two children joined the Bachchans on the occasion, adding considerable star power to the event at London’s BFI Southbank cinema.

This is a better follow up of the yesterday’s news about the surprise visit of Aishwarya’s at the Relaince web world where Abhishek Bachchan was promoting the upcoming film Raavan.

A surprise visit by Aishwarya Rai added high octane glamour to a press event Saturday evening to promote Mani Ratnam’s upcoming film “Raavan”. She was not scheduled to be at the event at Cinemax, Versova, Mumbai because her travel plans were uncertain. She was in Paris earlier this week, where she wowed the world at large in a Elie Saab gown at a charity dinner organized by Longines, the international watch brand that she endorses.

Aishwarya’s surprise appearance delighted silly her husband and Raavan co-star Abhishek Bachchan, leaving the 34-year-old grinning like a proud teenager on his first date for the rest of the evening.

Abhishek had spent the entire day plugging ‘Raavan’ on the streets of Mumbai with co-stars Ravi Kishen and Ajay Gehi.

Aishwarya was back to basics at the event in Versova, wearing black skinny jeans and red-and-black long sleeve top, with handkerchief hem and a string bow detail on the waist. She accessorized with black T strap heels, stud earrings, multiple bangles in both her arms and a metallic strap Longines (naturally) watch in her right arm. Her shoulder length, medium brown colored hair draped her shoulders. She wore red lip gloss, thick black eyeliner and multiple coats of mascara.

Aishwarya looked completely relaxed by her husband’s side, and ever so more beautiful because of it.

Aishwarya Rai, did talked to her fans about Raavan over the radio. The movie is scheduled to be premiered on 18th June. Seriously awaiting the movie launch now

Aishwarya Rai has been the brand ambassador of Longines for a long long time. It has been 10 years now. I recently posted about Aishwarya Rai at Rolland Garros stadium, watching French Open finals, etc etc. It all comes down to this day. Aishwarya Rai was a part of Longines Charity Dinner held in Rodin Museum in Paris, France on 7th June 2010.

Aishwarya Rai presented award to the retired ace tennis player, Gustavo Kuerten at the Longines Charity Dinner. Gustavo Kuerten born September 10, 1976 is a retired former World No. 1 tennis player from Brazil. He won the French Open three times between 1997 and 2001, and was the Tennis Masters Cup champion in 2000. After 12 years on the international tour, he retired from top-level tennis in May 2008. Kuerten was awarded for his work in favor of disadvantaged children. It’s a nice gesture from Longines to hold such Charity events and also award and recognize the people who do such a graceful work on their own.

This is the first time Aishwarya handed the award to someone at Longines Charity Dinner. Earlier this was done by the very famous Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi.

Anyways, Aishwarya looked very very graceful in a Black Elie Saab gown. Deep V neckline gown with a knotted chiffon drape in front….she surely looked pretty awesome. Which she usually do

Oh! Did i mention that there were some other celebrities at the function as well. The beautiful and popular but retired tennis star Stefi Graf was present but i don’t think her hubby and tennis rockstar (retired) Andre Agassi was present this time. Another tennis sensation, the sweet Mary Pierce was also present at the Dinner. Looked like an all tennis charity event to me

Aishwarya Rai now will be heading to some unknown place where she will join Abhishek Bachchan, just for vacations. I believe they are again going to Istanbul, Turkey but seriously not sure… After that the couple will head off to U.S.  for premier of Mani Ratnam’s movie “Raavan” on June 16th. The movie will be released worldwide on 18th June. Really looking forward to the release.

So it seems the two day old mystery finally solved itself. Aishwarya Rai was spotted along with her parents at the Rolland Garros stadium attending the French Open’s men’s final match between 2nd seeded Rafael Nadal and 5th seeded Robin Soldering. As mentioned in earlier post Rafael Nadal won the final in three straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, 6-4.

On 6th June’s post, i was wondering what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was doing at the Le Village, Rolland Garros stadium. My most probable guess was that she being the brand ambassador of the watch company Longines, and this visit had something to do with it. Honestly, i don’t think Aishwarya even follows this sport. So i wondered. I guess i was right!

On June 6th, during the match between Nadal and Soldering, Aishwarya Rai was among the VIP spectators at the match. She was present with her mum and dad at the occasion. Aishwarya looked like a superstar and she was all i could see. But i still wondered why? And finally Aishwarya took out those cute Japanese folding hand fans which had Longines written over it…and there you go. It was Longines thing afterall. This is no cheap publicity stunt. All starts do it. Anyways, once the mystery was over, i was finally able to rest my mind.

Also present at the finals were Beyoncé Knowles and husband Jay-Z, Guillaume Durand, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, French footballer Christian Karembeu along with Adriana among various other French celebrities.
