“Lamhaa” is a movie with Kashmir based story. The cast is pretty good with likes of Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu, Kunal Kapoor and Anupam Kher. I really am excited for the movie, however, i seriously don’t appreciate anyone mocking someone for the sake of the movie. There is a metaphor used in the movie “Lamhaa” that uses Aishwarya Rai’s name, and am just a fan of her but still i don’t like it.

When the movie “Lamhaa” was sent to the Censor Board for its final screening, there was some controversy for the usage of dialogues in the film. Now, it has again captured everyone’s attention due to Aishwarya’s name used as a metaphor in a dialogue. The movie talks about Aishwarya Rai, when Anupam Kher, a Kashmiri separatist leader in the film says : “When Aishwarya Rai is unable to see the moon, it makes news. But, why doesn’t the media reports the plight of those thousands of Kashmiri wives who haven’t seen their husbands for years?”

Phew!!! That makes my blood start boiling. Anyways, Of course the director and other guys have their own justification for the dialogue. Let’s see…

Rahul Dholakia, director of the movie says, “The dialogue in the film by the separatist leaders uses Mrs. Rai Bachchan as a metaphor to the Bollywood centric media who prefer covering the personal lives of icons and intrude into their private lives, making breaking news, instead of covering the real life poignant stories of Kashmiri half-widows. The comment is not a slur or an attack on the actress in anyway.”

Bunty Walia, the producer of the movie adds further, “The purpose of the scene was never intended to mock Aishwarya Rai. We would never do anything to hurt anyone’s sentiments.”

Well Bunty, you surely have hurt lot of fans. Your point is justified, but you still did use Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s name. Didn’t you. Any that’s mocking. Shame on you guys.

Anyways guys. I am a little fumed up with this controversy. Hopefully this dialogue will be removed or edited sooner or later. That’s it from my side today. Goodbye and love to all you Aishwarya Rai fans.

Aishwarya Rai, the most beautiful woman in the whole damn world. And Kate Winslet, oh i fell in love with her ever since i saw “The Titanic” and her last movies like “The Reader” and “Revolutionary Road”, just blew my mind. She is insanely hot and a very talented actress. I liked “Revolutionary Road” because after “Titanic”, the awesome pair of Kate Winslet and LeonardoDiCaprio came back together in this movie. Anyways, i am drifting off the topic now.

You might not be knowing but Kate Winslet is also a brand ambassador of L’Oreal. Recently there has been some rumors that Aishwarya Rai and Kate Winslet, both brand ambassadors of L’Oreal, will share screen together for an advertisement for the promotion of a L’Oreal product. It’s however a little heart breaking but i should rather say it. This news is incorrect and Aishwarya Rai and Kate Winslet will not share a screen together.

It has been confirmed by Aishwarya Rai’s publicist to some news agency. “It’s a wrong information” as said by the publicist.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, has been the L’Oreal ambassador since 2005 and has promoted products ranging from lipsticks and mascara to hair color for the international cosmetic brand L’Oreal. I bet you have seen most of them. On other hand, Kate Winslet, was unveiled as the spokesmodel for Lancôme, a luxury brand owned by L’Oreal, in June 2007. Both are such fine women, each deserving the respect for being talented actress and an icon for all those women who believes in beauty

By the way, as mentioned in last post, Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar are in Manali right now, finishing up with the movie “Action Replayy”. I am sure hoping for the best

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan are off on another trip! After flying to the south of France for the Cannes Film Festival and Paris for the French Open, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan came back to India for a few visits to Delhi and Hyderabad to promote her new movie “Raavan”.

And now the actress is off again! This time she is going to London for the premiere of Raavan with her hubby Abhishek Bachchan. In Paris Ash took in the tennis matches at the French Open and enjoyed spending time with her parents. But after her trip to Europe it was time to get down to business in India and Ash returned to start promoting Raavan in different cities.

Monday night the actress came back to Mumbai from Hyderabad and our photogs were of course there to snap pics of the working beauty! Aishwarya landed at Mumbai airport looking as fresh as ever in a gorgeous green Sabyasachi outfit with golden high heels and a matching purse. But no rest for this busy belle as the team of Raavan is now off to London to promote the flick.

“With team Raavan at the airport about to board a flight to London. Always feels good to be around mani and all. England here we come!” Abhishek tweeted Tuesday morning. “Lack of sleep does funny things to the mind! Thankfully a 9 hour flight should take care of that,” he added. Hopefully Ash gets some sleep as well, they both need it if they are going to take on fans in London who we’re sure are excited to see Raavan!

I think i need some break from my work and got to sleep as well. Coz i sure as hell, am gonna see Raavan, first day but not the first show

 

Normally the Bachchans have a rigid rule about not mixing business with pleasure. But on Thursday morning, when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan landed in Mumbai from Paris, she broke the golden rule when she dropped in unannounced, to meet Abhishek at the Reliance Web World where he was doing out-of-town press interviews.

Says a source, “Lately Abhishek and Aishwarya have had very little time together. After their short anniversary holiday, Abhishek got busy with the shooting of Abhinay Deo’s Game in Greece while Aishwarya returned to India for a stint of Robot. She was then in Paris to honor the Brazilian tennis champ Gustavo Kuerten for his work with disadvantaged children.”

Says a source, ‘At the Charity Dinner that followed, Aishwarya bonded with Steffi Graf and Mary Pierce and kept missing Abhishek because he was a big fan of both.”

The minute she landed in Mumbai from Paris, Aishwarya asked the family driver to take her wherever Abhishek was. A first for her because normally she doesn’t intrude when her husband is working. Even when she joins him on long outdoors locations, she never hangs around the sets when he’s shooting.

Says a friend of Aishwarya, “This time she made an exception because she was missing Abhishek all the way from Paris to Mumbai. And besides, Abhishek was doing promotional work for their film together. She not only met him but also joined impromptu in the talk with their fans on radio from Jaipur and Ahmedabad.”

Says a family friend, “The funny part is, the Bachchans are never together these days. Now that Aishwarya is home, the senior Bachchan left for Paris, the city that Aishwarya left yesterday. In fact, their flights must have crossed each other.”

During the shooting of Raavan Hindi movie, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai always stayed together even when they were shooting at the dense forest.

Raavan Hindi movie is the upcoming movie of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan. A major portion of the movie was set in jungle. The jungle shooting lasted for two hundred days and it was very grueling especially for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for she had to shoot both in Tamil and Hindi version.

In Hindi version, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan play the lead roles while South Indian actor, Vikram, played the villain. In Tamil version, Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played the lead role.

The shooting was very grueling but even after all the hard work, Abhishek Bachchan always stayed with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

While talking about her experience of shooting the movie, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said, “You’re drenched from six in the morning till seven in the evening, the day starts with a trek, going to locations and then you muddy yourself, dirty yourself, get into costume. It’s just a very demanding, consuming experience from moment to moment.”

People can argue this act of Abhishek either as love or as insecurity. But if any husband can’t do this much for her wife then what’s the point of marriage. I really admire what Abhishek Bachchan did. Taking care of Aishwarya Rai in the dense forest being the primary duty and responsibility. And of course, he also had to take care of the evil eyes on the sets, staring her wife. So it’s good he was with Aishwarya Rai all the time. Well done, Abhi!!!!

Anyways, “Raavan” is coming this week! 16th June. I hope it’s worth the time and effort these all guys have spent in. However i feel that considering the hype that this movie has already created, maybe, just maybe if it didn’t do excellently, it might turn into disaster! Anyways, let’s see!
