Aishwarya Rai (ABCL Head)

Who ever thought that Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited would ever fail. But the company never got the right start and failed & then failed again. But i guess now ABCL has a reason to celebrate with the new hope they see under Aishwarya Rai. That’s right, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, daughter in law of Amitabh Bachchan, has taken up the responsibility to revive the destiny of the family banner.

As you might just not be knowing it, “Paa” is being released under ABCL banner. According to some online media buffs, Bachchans are pretty confident about the success of “Paa” specially after series of flops in the past. You know what! Even i am pretty confident about the success of the movie “Paa”, and hopefully, it will truly be a success worldwide.

Anyways, getting back on the subject, Aishwarya Rai has played a major role in planning the marketing strategies of the movie “Paa” under AB Corp Ltd. She is really leaving nothing to chance and taking full control of the marketing. So whether it’s the head-in-the-box teaser ads, or Auro merchandise, Paa-and-I campaign strategies, or Big B visiting schools, all the promotional strategies for the film are filtered by Aishwarya. So, with this in mind and to continue with some good projects,  they have chosen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to head the ABCL banner for the revival or shall i say re-establishment. So far, so good…hoping the same for future.

By the way, just for your information, here is the list of movies that have been launched under ABCL banner:

  1. Paa (2009)
  2. Family: Ties of Blood (2006)
  3. Antarmahal: Views of the Inner Chamber (2005)
  4. Viruddh… Family Comes First (2005)
  5. Aks (2001)
  6. Major Saab (1998)
  7. Mrityudaata (1997)
  8. Saat Rang Ke Sapne (1997)
  9. Tere Mere Sapne (1996)
  10. Bumbai (1995)

I don’t know. I kinda liked Major Saab and Viruddh and the songs for Aks were pretty cool as well.
Anyways, let me wish Bachchans family a bright future and lot of success with Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited.

Aishwarya Rai Aishwarya Rai Presents Desserts To Indian Soldiers

Aishwarya Rai

A Decade ago, On July 26th, 1999, India won Kargil war, an event which holds a special place in every Indian’s heart. Aishwarya Rai‘s hubby Abhishek Bachchan covered an extra mile and paid a visit to the soldiers who in the most difficult situation are standing strong and protecting our country from the enemies. On 26th July 2009, Abhishek Bachchan pauid a visit to some war zones at Kargil and Drass. He met lot of Indian soldiers there in and had long chats with them. Surely his presence made many soldiers happy. But this wasn’t all. Abhishek Bachchan carried with him “Gajar Ka Halwa” (An Indian Dessets made from carrots) and “Aam Ras” (Another Indian Dessert made from mango fruit). These two delicacies were prepared by none other than Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan. Ahhh! I can’t even begin to think how happy that would have made our soldiers!

Obviously, whole of India paid homage to the martyrs of the Kargil war this sunday, but the Bachchan’s gesture of showing true support was fabulous. Abhishek Bachchan along with media channel NDTV remembered the sacrifice of the Jawans who gave their life for India in the Kargil war 10 years back. Abhishek also recited a beautiful poem titled “Agnipath” to the soldiers. The poem was composed by Abhishek’s grandfather, Mr. Harivansh Rai Bachchan, who was one of the best poets that India ever had. And when the whole Bachchan parivar is contributing, how can Amitabh Bachchan be left out. Big B left a special message for the brave soldiers which Abhishek read out when he was in Kargil. I’m so sure this would have been so much appreciated by the brave soldiers posted in Kargil and Drass!

As a true Indian, i think it’s our duty to respect our country and salute the brave soldiers that protect it from our enemies. I salute all the brave Indian soldiers who are fighting our enemies and protecting our country at all times. God bless you all!

Aishwarya Rai

It’s nothing new to see such a case of celebrities identity theft where in some fake lonely desperate guy/gal claims to be a celebrity and get loads of followers and users on various social networking sites such as Twitter. Someone recently made up a twitter account imposting as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and started twittering some fake twits like “I have a secret that i would love to share with my twitter friends only” and stuff like that.

Aishwarya Rai has been getting hundreds of calls asking about her secret that she wishes to share. Of course it came as a shock to Aishwarya as she had no clue what the hell was going on. This unpleasant shock which earlier looked like a prank or another media bluff soon became very annoying as her friends and family and all people who had Aishwarya contact number started contacting her, asking for the secret. My God! I can only imagine how it went for Aishwarya in last few days. I do feel for her and and one can only imagine this celebrity stardom side effects icon wink Aishwarya Rai And The Twitter Identity Theft

Apparently, The flood of calls began ever since the media reported recently that Ash is on Twitter and that she has written: “Planning to share a secret with my  Twitter friends… will update shortly.” I’m sorry but i have no idea which media published such a story without any proof.  Such medias are only creating nuisance and they should have double checked on that twitter account. Aishwarya Rai is not the first celebrity whose identity has been stolen. Apart from thousands of impostors for Hollywood celebrities, Amrita Rao, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan have faced similar problems very recently.

Aishwarya Rai’s spokesperson confirmed that there is some fake imposting as Aishwarya Rai and twitting useless messages. He said “Aisharya was shell-shocked to know that someone who has faked her Twitter identity is posting messages on her behalf, promising to ‘reveal a secret’. Aishwarya does not have a Twitter account.”

So probably now you know that Ash is not twittering. So stop wasting your time in finding celebrity twitter accounts because most of the time you will end up finding fake celebrity imposters. We already get enough updates on Aishwarya’s news and movies and her being at various events. Why on earth do we need twitter account for Aishwarya to add more and more information! icon smile Aishwarya Rai And The Twitter Identity Theft

Aishwarya Is The Most Powerful Actress Of Bollywood

aishwarya rai bollywood Aishwarya Is The Most Powerful Actress Of Bollywood

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

In the recent few days i have heard about a lot of rubbish like Katrina Kaif replacing Aishwarya Rai in so and so advertisement, Kareena Kapoor dethroning Ash from top position etc. I think it is time to answer the critics with the best shot on who is the most powerful of all Bollywood actress. The answer has been unanimous. The most powerful actress in Bollywood is Aishwarya Rai once again!

Despite losing some advertisements and endorsements and even despite some recent unsuccessful movies, Aishwarya Rai was voted and chosen as India’s number one actress out of hundreds. She got the highest votes in a recent survey and she has proved to everyone that she still rules the Bollywood film industry. This survey was carried on a large scale by pretty famous Hansa Research agency in order to measure the “Celebrity Power in India”. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan topped the list and managed to outrank likes of  Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and even Madhuri Dixit for that matter. Wow! Isn’t that amazing?

If you remember, recently Aishwarya Rai was also honored with Padmashree award for her outstanding contribution to Indian cinema. The popularity of Aishwarya Bachchan is not ceasing down at all. With awards and prestigious recognition, she has brought pride and prestige to herself and to the Bachchan family and of course to India as well.

By the way, if you are wondering on what factors did Hansa Research agency chose Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the most powerful actress, well they test this in categories like popularity, presence in the media, power of persuasion, and overall image through a survey. Almost ninety-nine percent of respondents recognized Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. The other one percent were probably just not interested in her, but probably still knew who she was. The poll helped to confirm the research from a recent study by Celeb Track. This poll rated Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan as the most powerful people in Bollywood.

It’s just not my voice in here, but millions feel that at the moment, no actress can match the level of success that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has already reached. It is not just her Bollywood accomplishments that makes her the best known actress from India. She has worked in many projects in Hollywood as well plus she is well known in modeling arena. Everybody in world knows her. She is not just here in India, in fact she is everywhere.

I personally believe that we are yet to see the best of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Hoping to see best of Aishwarya Rai in her forthcoming films like Mani Ratnam’s Raavan.

Aishwarya Rai’s Argument With Mani Ratnam

aishwarya rai raavan Aishwarya Rais Argument With Mani Ratnam

Aishwarya Rai

Alright, so probably you did hear about the small argument that took place between our gorgeous, Aishwarya Rai and famous director Mani Ratnam. If you have been regular on our blog, you might have heard that Aishwarya is currently doing a Mani Ratnam film called “Ravana”. Apparently her husband, Abhishek Bachchan is also a part of this film.

So what went wrong on the sets of Ravana that led to to this argument between the two? Amazingly, this argument all started on a stupid make-up thing.

According to sources, director Mani Ratnam asked Aishwarya to put no make-up for her look in the second half of the film “Raavan” however Aishwarya refused to do so. The no make-up look was in accordance to the demand of the story, wherein, the character played by Abhishek Bachchan, abducts Aishwarya and her character undergoes a major transformation. Another source said “Mani wants to showcase her character without make-up in the second half. He believes that since she’s separated from her husband, the raw look is important to express the loss and pain she’s going through.” However it looks like Ash wanted a doze of make up every now and then. To which the source added ” There were times when Ash would sneak and put basic make-up and only then, do the shot. Mani would spot the slightest sliver of make-up and would ask her to go back and remove it.” It was evident that neither Aishwarya nor Mani Ratnam would back out on this stupid issue. Aishwarya Rai believed that basic make-up will not make much of a difference but Mani Ratnam did not agree.

I think Aishwarya Rai was right on her part and Mani Ratnam was just being stubborn. Mani called Ash as “an unprofessional actress”. Huh? That’s why he casted her again in the movie after Guru? Aishwarya Rai is 35. I’m sure you would agree that she is not as flawless beauty as she used to be few years back. And it’s simple aging factor that leaves no one at all. Now obviously a woman as beautiful as Aishwarya Rai, would not want to do a movie without make up. Basic make up, in my view should have been completely acceptable.

By The Way, i would like to add something here about Aishwarya’s professionalism. All big guns, filmmakers who have worked with Aishwarya say that she is a thorough professional. Subhash Ghai, who worked with her in Taal, says that he “still gives her example to young actresses. She is intelligent, sincere and dedicated even to details. She is the director’s perfect actor.” This is Aishwarya’s third film with Mani Ratnam and most directors she has worked with, have repeated her, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Rajiv Menon.

Bollywood film Industry insiders say that “why would they repeat her if she was unprofessional?” A source close to the unit of Ravana says, “Ratnam has been so impressed by Ash’s Tamil enunciation that he has decided to retain some of her Tamil dialogues in the Hindi version of the film too.” The source further says that “Ash has had the no make up look in Raincoat and Chokher Bali , thus why would she make a fuss over make up now.”

Jagmohan Mundra, who directed her in Provoked says, “Ash is underrated as an actress because of her beauty and pre-conceived prejudices. I liked her commitment and trust in me as the director. She never came to check the monitor or ask for another take once I said OK.” Samir Karnik, who directed Ash in Kyun ho Gaya Na, says that her novelty is incredible and “she is least interfering”. Says Samir, “Superb is the word for Aishwarya Rai. She is among the very few in the industry who understand everything in the very first narration. She is always eager to learn.”

Message to Mani Ratnam: Grow up man! No matter how big a director you are, you don’t ever fight with a lady that gorgeous! Also from now on, Mr. Mani Ratnam, chose your words carefully before you speak about Aishwarya Rai, next time.
