The ever glowing Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is so much attached to her family relationships, that even though she was not well, she traveled to Bhopal to celebrate her hubby Abhishek Bachchan’s grandmother’s (nani) 80th birthday party.

Long time ago the couple had a made a commitment to Abhishek’s nani (maternal grandmother) to visit to Bhopal for her birthday, this was according to a source close to Aishwarya.

Inspite of having high fever and sore throat from a few days she didn’t let her promise down and she was there to fulfill her promise.

Abhishek posted on his social networking site Twitter that “Aishwarya is much much better, but still not 100 percent (fine). But she’s my nani’s favourite so she made the trip too. Should be back to fighting fit… in a day or two” .

The actor says his grandmother’s expression on seeing both of them was “Priceless”.

Such things make Indian women such graceful and India proud. Aren’t we all glad to be a part of such a country where self interests come after family’s happiness.

Thanks Aishwarya for showing true feelings. Love should always shower for the ones you love and you have done just that.

Thank God! Aishwarya Rai does not have any disease. All this reports about Stomach Tuberculosis were all false and fabricated stories by the Mumbai journalism. The Mumbai Mirror and Mid Day both reported couple of days back that Aishwarya has stomach TB. Can’t believe what limits some people are willing to cross to make some sales.

Amitabh Bachchan is deeply angered over a latest media report that Aishwarya Rai, his daughter-in-law and wife of son Abhishek Bachchan, can’t have a baby right now because she’s suffering from stomach tuberculosis. Amitabh referred to the Mumbai mirror story as “completely false, completely fabricated, unsubstantiated, insensitive and of the lowest quality of journalism there ever was.” An understandably pained Amitabh Bachchan added, “I am too incensed and angered by the contents above !! Not a single portion of the article is true !! I have much to comment upon on this, but shall hold on till another day. For the moment I have only this to say. I am the head of my family. Aishwarya is not my daughter – in – law, she is my daughter, a woman, a lady in my house and home. If anyone will speak derogatorily about her, I shall fight for her till my last breath. If you have something to say to the men in the house, Abhishek or me, I shall bear it. But .. if you shall make injudicious remarks on the women in my home, I shall not tolerate it !!!”

Abhishek Bachchan had some similar sentiments on his twitter account. He said “The article is disgusting and appalling! As a husband and a man i’m shocked that one can talk so irresponsibly about a woman, that too FALSELY!! on a personal note, as a husband i will not stand for such rubbish being written about my wife.”
He added “i have never reacted to all the fabricated stories written by the media about me and my own. BUT THIS IS THE LIMIT!!!”
“You want to write and malign me or my father i will take it. but the ladies of my home are off limits! they’ve gone too far this time.”

You know, it’s good to see someone going this far to protect the people they love. I’m really happy for the Bachchan parivar. And at the same time shame on the journalist who went this far to sell few copies of their newsline. What a shame!!!!

Anyways, we, the true fans of Aishwarya are really glad and relieved that Aishwarya Rai is perfectly fine and hope she continues to do well in all aspects of her life.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been trying to become a mother for some time now. The fact that she has so far not gotten pregnant is actually a cause for concern for the entire Bachchan parivar.

According to a close family friend, though outwardly the family may have taken the when-it-happens-it-will-happen stand, but within, there’s a very ardent desire to have an heir for the family as soon as possible.

Mr Bachchan is especially sold on a grandson, but when asked about it he says, as usual, “When it happens, it will happen.”

But the question that is really bothers the family and their close friends is – when? After all, it’s no secret that Aishwarya is 37, and she isn’t getting any younger.

But it now comes to light that the reason for her inability to bear a child at the moment is because she has been suffering from stomach tuberculosis for a while.

Says a source, “The medication Aishwarya is taking for her stomach ailment is hampering her from getting pregnant. Until the tuberculosis is fully cured, she is unlikely to risk a pregnancy.”

On his blog, an anguished Amitabh Bachchan has written about ‘the rich man’s TB’, dispelling the myth that the disease only afflicts the less privileged. Now that the supposed reason for the delay in her pregnancy is clearer, we can only hope and pray that the Bachchan bahu speedily recovers from the ailment and fulfills her ardent desire to become a mother.

Bollywood is on high alert! One of its biggest stars, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has fallen ill while shooting her latest movie “Action Replay.”

The model and actress has spent the last week on Manori Island working with Vipul Shah on the movie that tells the story of a time-traveling man, played by Akshay Kumar.

But all of a sudden, while shooting a scene, Ash got sick and had to take antibiotics.

But it seems like Mrs Bachchan ate the medicine like candy and soon had a bad reaction. Her lips got swollen and her fever worsened.

But what to do when you have to finish a movie? Well, Ash is a true professional and decided to simply cover her face with a veil and continue shooting! Interesting! No rest for this L’Oreal girl!.

The reaction could have either been because of the antibiotics, which she took in excess as she had to finish the shooting yesterday.

As well as fulfill the next important commitment of being the keynote speaker at a women’s summit today or it could also be an insect sting, Aishwarya’s spokesperson said. But unfortunately the star didn’t get any better despite all the antibiotics and today her husband, Abhishek Bachchan, had to accept an award for her at the summit. Poor Ash! We hope she gets better soon!

I know the advertisemnet has been showing up on media since like 10-15 days but i haven’t been on this site since end of July. So i am just making up for it by putting up all the Aishwarya Rai’s news that i should have, as and when they happened. Moving on to the news….

Well, we all know that Lux has a reputation to rope in high profile Bollywood actors for it’s advertising campaigns. Aishwarya is no stranger to them. She has been the brand ambassador since last past 10 years. So, obviously she would be the first choice to launch this new product of theirs. Butr surprisingly they have also managed to rope in Abhishek Bachchan for this advertisement campaign.

In the words of Tista Sen, executive director of the brand, “We were asked to launch the best ever Lux soap, which is rich with beauty oils, for soft skin like never before. For most women in India a bath is a cleansing ritual rather than a beautifying process. The new Lux, with a new promise of “new luxury experience in bath – a luxurious process that  brings about noticeably softer skin and a new you.” I take pleasure in knowing that all I need is my noticeably softer skin to disarm even the most unflappable men.”

The commercial is already out and this is how it goes – Aishwarya Rai having a leisurely bath in the tub. After she gets ready, Abhishek Bachchan comes home and sits down to read the paper. She sneaks in behind him and gently blindfolds him, while he just takes in the scent of her. What follows is a game of blind man’s buff, where he is trying to get hold of her and her soft skin.

Talking about the advertisement, Tinta Sen said “The campaign is part of the Lux brand idea that is ‘Behave beautiful’. It encourages women to enjoy being beautiful, have fun and take pleasure in it. It is playful and demonstrates through soft skin, all the Lux brand values.” He added “Ash has been the brand ambassador for Lux since the past 10 years. Who better than her to launch the new Lux. We wanted to portray her life when she is playing herself. To make the idea work beyond just a script, we thought of casting Abhishek with her. It is the couple coming together for the first time. They are real, in-sync with each other and seen in a role reversal of sorts. Ash is the one playing the prank and Abhishek is at the receiving end.”
