It’s an old video but i love to watch it again and again. So here i am sharing it with you….

David Letterman, the famous TV talk show host, tried to make fun of Indian tradition at the time when Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was invited on her show to be a guest. But how can our Aishwarya Rai let such thing go. She gets right into the argument and burned David Letterman with her quick witty but thoughtful answers.

David – Is it common in India for elder children to live with their parents (Audience laugh at this point)
Aishwarya – Its common in India to live with your parent.. Its also common in India that we don’t need to take appointments with our parents to meet for dinner. (Crowd stunned, shocked, silenced and then goes for an applause because they knew they were ashamed. Well done Ash)

I think we have already mentioned “Aishwarya Rai” and King Paaji “Akshay Kumar” getting together for a movie once again. It’s for Vipul Shah’s movie named “Action Replay“. I guess the pair last teamed up nearly five years ago for the Raj Kumar Santoshi’s movie “Khakee” ( i hope i spelled that correctly). But i do remember that the pair’s on screen chemistry was amazing and caught the eye of many. So maybe it seems little disappointing that such a hit pair made it to big screen after five long years. Anyways, better late than never.

Now the film “Action Replay” directed by Vipul Shah has been given and based entirely on the 70’s background and look. It seems to be a new trend now. Movie makers going Retro way these days. The most significant factor of the film which is the fashion quotient has been totally hidden from the public so as to keep it exclusive and as a surprise for the public. The fashion designers that are Manish Malhotra for Aishwarya and Shabina Khan for Akshay have worked very hard for the entire films ensembles. The make up artiste Paul Pattison has specially been called for the exclusive touch. You might recall him for his amazing work in films like “Brave Heart” and “Mission Impossible 2″.

This movie “Action Replay” is believed to be a story about a man who travels backwards in time to the 70s when he was young and handsome. So for the sake of 1970′s, Aishwarya and Akshay have been seen sporting very different looks on the set of the movie and Aishwarya Rai, as usual looks extremely gorgeous!

I was able to get few pics on the net. However no official posters or teasers have been launched by the production house as on now. But you know how the media is. They managed to leak out few images already. So here they are:

Interesting Fact: While shooting for a Holi song sequence in the film, Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar and of course the director Vipul Shah decided against using the 70-80 tankers of water that would have been required for the shoot. “We decided to save the resource and send out the message that people should not waste water,” said Shah. I really wish that message gets through. Protecting this planet is a duty of everyone. Just do your bit and the world will change…Will change for better

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who doesn’t believe in forgive and forget, has backed out from a dance performance in an award function. Aishwarya Rai is an angry young lady nowadays. And she isn’t in the mood to forget or forgive the tabloid that recently published a report of her having pregnancy problems because of stomach tuberculosis. And i guess we all would agree with her decision. It was not something to be forgiven. So well done Aishwarya…

Sources reveal that the lady is boycotting the award ceremony because the function is associated with the mother company of that same tabloid magazine. The actress was reportedly offered a whopping Rs 85 lakhs for a dance performance. “Main nahi nachhungi (I won’t dance) no matter how strong the lure of lucre”. That’s the message Ash seems to be sending. Aishwarya, who rarely dances at events after her marriage, did agree to this particular function after a lot of consideration. But the moment she came to know that the particular tabloid was involved with the function, she backed out.

Ash is demanding an apology from the tabloid and the whole Bachchan parivar is with her, supporting this decision. She has even mailed the tabloid about the slanderous report and asked for an apology, Abhishek had blasted the daily on Twitter. Even Big B had lambasted the report asking the concerned people for due apology. But no apology has come from the tabloid till now.

It’s not nice to see Angry Aishwarya Rai because she is a doll and not meant to be angry young woman. But i guess the tabloid made a big mistake which they should have realized and apologized for. So hoping some minds at tabloid are mature enough to realize their mistake.

As many of you must be knowing by now, Superstar Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai starring movie “Endhiran” also known as “The Robot” is being filmed in Brazil. This is the first time Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai are in a film together. Ofcourse we have been mentioning about this film for long now and you can find many related stories about the film on our website.

Probably i haven’t mentioned this before. The story line of Endhiran is that Rajinikanth is a scientist in India and Aishwarya Rai is his beautiful assistant. They try creating a Robot who can think like human and work like human. That is the dream of Rajinikanth in the movie and that’s what the film is all about. The ever glowing Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is so much attached to her family relationships, that even though she was not well, she traveled to Bhopal to celebrate her hubby Abhishek Bachchan’s grandmother’s (nani) 80th birthday party.

Long time ago the couple had a made a commitment to Abhishek’s nani (maternal grandmother) to visit to Bhopal for her birthday, this was according to a source close to Aishwarya.

Inspite of having high fever and sore throat from a few days she didn’t let her promise down and she was there to fulfill her promise.

Abhishek posted on his social networking site Twitter that “Aishwarya is much much better, but still not 100 percent (fine). But she’s my nani’s favourite so she made the trip too. Should be back to fighting fit… in a day or two” .

The actor says his grandmother’s expression on seeing both of them was “Priceless”.

Such things make Indian women such graceful and India proud. Aren’t we all glad to be a part of such a country where self interests come after family’s happiness.

Thanks Aishwarya for showing true feelings. Love should always shower for the ones you love and you have done just that.
