Aishwarya Rai

Seems like Aishwarya Rai flies around the world faster than the volcanic ash did. Ash, who was in Mumbai just a few days ago, has again gone off to attend some important events abroad.

She will soon be busy with the promotion of Mani Ratnam’s film with hubby Abhishek and south star Vikram, ‘Raavan’. Then she has to go for the Cannes Festival.

She also has to give her time for a ninety day schedule for the shooting of the Nikhil Advani film ‘Patiala House,’ with Akshay Kumar.

Now, all this is leaving the director Vipul Shah, jittery and dry. According to reports, his film ‘Action Replayy’, which stars Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai, is yet to get completed. As the main song, which received much publicity recently, is yet to be shot. Apart from that, the entire shoot for the film is complete.

But, due to the busy schedules of both the stars, there is no scope for the song pictirisation to get started, forget completion.

So, the workaholic and helpful Aishwarya, made a suggestion. She asked Vipul to fly to London with his crew, and she would fly from Cannes, so AkshayKumar and she would be able to give him time for night shifts. Vipul Shah, who is a friend of Nikhil Advani, is not sure as to how he can go for this suggestion by Ash.

And not think of the time and money that the director, Nikhil Advani would lose because of this So, the director, who anyway has shifted his date of release from July to September, and can afford to wait for a few days Now, it remains to be seen what Ash has to say to this!.

Aishwarya Rai In Holi Song From “Action Replay”

Aishwarya Rai In Holi Song

Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar starrer, “Action Replay” is still under production, so this is not the actual song taken from the movie. It is just the making of the Holi song from the movie Action Replay.

Aishwarya and Akshay were in news for this song when they decided to do the song without any water. Thus sending out the message to Save water on such occassions and festivals. Later in the video Aishwarya Rai talks to us and stresses on saving water. I think the social message should get to every person in this country. And why just country, this needs to be implemented in the whole world. Save water, play and support a dry holi.

I just can’t help writing this but Aishwarya Rai looks so stunningly beautiful. Watching her dance on this Holi song in the video still makes me wanna twist and dance. She is not only the most beautiful woman in this world but she is also a great great dancer.

Do drop us a line on what you think about this song. I think it’s great and Aishwarya Rai is going to make some feet tapping on this song for a long long time. :)

Good luck to Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar for the movie “Action Replay”. Enjoy the song and spread the message. Thanks!!!!

Aishwarya & Akshay Will Bring Back 70′s Romance

Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar

Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s forthcoming film Action Replayy promises to take the audience down memory lane.

Following news that one of Akshay’s dance numbers in the film will instantly remind the audience of John Travolta in the 1977 hit Saturday Night Fever.

The latest buzz around the film is a special song based on the romance between some of the most popular Bollywood jodis of the 1970s.

The song, which is yet to be shot at the end of this month in Manali, will have Akshay and Aishwarya teasing each other, vintage style.

A source said, “This is Akshay’s biggest release before Tees Maar Khan and director-producer Vipul Shah wants the film to touch everybody’s heart. The song is a tribute to the leading Bollywood couples of the 1970s and will highlight their romance.
The five couples whom Akshay and Aishwarya will pay a tribute to in the five-minute song will be Amitabh-Jaya, Dharmendra-Hema, Rishi-Neetu, Rajesh-Mumtaz and Shashi-Parveen.”

The song, composed by Pritam, has lyrics which goes something like: “Nakhre nakhre nakhre, nakhre hain naatak re, nakhre nakhre nakhre tu peeche hi rakh re“. “Since the film has a retro feel, Akshay and Aishwarya will be dressed just like these legendary couples did in their films. The unit is currently planning how to choreograph the song,” added the source.

Vipul Shah confirmed the news and said, “This song, which will be shot in Manali, starts in a playful manner and then goes on to salute the stylish romance that was a trademark of the 1970s.”

Aishwarya Rai Returns To Acting And Is Fine

Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai had been ill for more than a month. On 11 February ’2010, the 36-year-old beautiful lady had returned home from the sets of the movie due to high fever.

But now she has been recovered and was on a full-day photo shoot on Friday with the actor Akshay Kumar at Film City, for Vipul Shah‘s Action Replayy.

Aishwarya Rai was advised by doctors to take complete bed rest. Apparently, she was suffering from sore throat as well as body pain. So she took rest for a few days, she went to visit Abhishek’s maternal grandmother in Bhopal for her 80th birthday and now she returns back to work. All we can say is that we’re glad she is healthy and fine and back to work :)

Remember how few days back, her illness raised some questions and rumors came up about Aishwarya having stomach tuberculosis and how it’s effecting her chances of getting pregnant. Well what a crap that was. Seriously..very shameful. But am glad that her hubby, Abhishek Bachchan and her father-in-law, actor Amitabh Bachchan stood with her in those times and showed the world who the real men are. They accused the tabloid for involving in such an irresponsible journalism. Remembering the song now “Stand By My Woman..”. :)

Aishwarya Rai’s First Looks For “Action Replay”

Posted By AishwaryaWeb on 3rd March 2010

I think we have already mentioned “Aishwarya Rai” and King Paaji “Akshay Kumar” getting together for a movie once again. It’s for Vipul Shah’s movie named “Action Replay“. I guess the pair last teamed up nearly five years ago for the Raj Kumar Santoshi’s movie “Khakee” ( i hope i spelled that correctly). But i do remember that the pair’s on screen chemistry was amazing and caught the eye of many. So maybe it seems little disappointing that such a hit pair made it to big screen after five long years. Anyways, better late than never. :)

Now the film “Action Replay” directed by Vipul Shah has been given and based entirely on the 70’s background and look. It seems to be a new trend now. Movie makers going Retro way these days. The most significant factor of the film which is the fashion quotient has been totally hidden from the public so as to keep it exclusive and as a surprise for the public. The fashion designers that are Manish Malhotra for Aishwarya and Shabina Khan for Akshay have worked very hard for the entire films ensembles. The make up artiste Paul Pattison has specially been called for the exclusive touch. You might recall him for his amazing work in films like “Brave Heart” and “Mission Impossible 2″.

This movie “Action Replay” is believed to be a story about a man who travels backwards in time to the 70s when he was young and handsome. So for the sake of 1970′s, Aishwarya and Akshay have been seen sporting very different looks on the set of the movie and Aishwarya Rai, as usual looks extremely gorgeous!

I was able to get few pics on the net. However no official posters or teasers have been launched by the production house as on now. But you know how the media is. They managed to leak out few images already. So here they are:

Interesting Fact: While shooting for a Holi song sequence in the film, Aishwarya Rai and Akshay Kumar and of course the director Vipul Shah decided against using the 70-80 tankers of water that would have been required for the shoot. “We decided to save the resource and send out the message that people should not waste water,” said Shah. I really wish that message gets through. Protecting this planet is a duty of everyone. Just do your bit and the world will change…Will change for better :)
