Aishwarya Rai has been shooting in forests of India for the upcoming movie “Raavan”. Shooting in such natural scenarios is never easy for any person, whether they be an actor or an actress or even there body double/stunt man. Anyways, let’s not drift off from the topic. Like the whole world, South Indian star Vikram is all smitten by co star Aishwarya Rai. Seriously, who isn’t? Aishwarya Rai plays the demure and vulnerable role based on Sita in both the Hindi and Tamil versions of the movie “Raavan” and she plays her character with grace and effortlessness. Vikram sums it up beautifully as he cites, “It’s strange that every Miss World and Miss Universe enters movies. But who has had the lingering impact of Aishwarya’s? She has some kind of an enduring aura. Over the years she has really evolved as an actor.”

Vikram recounts how Ash endured wounds, insect bites, fever and agonising pain in the rough terrain of the Indian forests. Despite her feebleness, she refused to take the help of any body double. Aishwarya Rai’s double whammy: Vikram further showers praise on the former Miss World and quips, “I had to do two characters. But she had to play the same character twice, in two languages, one after another. For example, if she had to climb a rock with me, she’d do it climb down and then do it again with Abhishek.”

Vikram also said “Overall, the filming of Raavan was very tough as the locations were deep inside the wilderness where it wasn’t, at times, possible to drive. It was like going to war. The terrain was so treacherous. Every scene was risky. If it wasn’t raining we were near waterfalls so always wet and susceptible to fall ill.”

Ofcourse Vikram was impressed a lot by Aishwarya Rai. But when it came to dancing, he had just one thing to say. He recalls how good a dancer she is. He hails her dancing skills to be as good, if not better, than the legendary Madhuri Dixit. Speaking of the experience in Raavan, he says. “It was really nice to see her dance. I just forgot my own steps and kept staring.”

Well, i think he just became one of the many million fans that Aishwarya Rai already has. Yeah, it’s easy to express your feelings when you already are star but i still am a bigger fan of Aishwarya’s than guys like Vikram would ever be. He he he he! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan seems to be going through a rough time, health-wise. Earlier this year, Aishwarya fell ill on the sets of “Action Replay”, and now she has injured herself with some cuts and bruises on the sets of “Raavana”.

When Ash, one of B-town’s biggest stars, fell ill while shooting “Action Replay” with Akshay Kumar, Bollywood was on high alert! The model and actress had spent a week on Manori Island working with Vipul Shah on the movie that tells the story of a time-traveling man, played by Akshay.

But all of a sudden, while shooting a scene, Ash got sick and had to take antibiotics. But it seems like Mrs Bachchan ate the medicine like candy and soon had a bad reaction. Her lips got swollen and her fever worsened. But what to do when you have to finish a movie? Well, Ash is a true professional and decided to simply cover her face with a veil and continue shooting! Interesting! No rest for this L’Oreal girl!

“The reaction could’ve either been because of the antibiotics, which she took in excess as she had to finish the shooting yesterday as well as fulfill the next important commitment of being the keynote speaker at a women’s summit today, or it could also be an insect sting,” Aishwarya’s spokesperson said at the time.

And now the actress is at it again! This time she cut herself while shooting the movie “Raavana.” Ash reportedly climbed a mountain as part of a scene where she wanted to perform a stunt herself, but as is often the case when the stars want to be in on the stunt action, it backfired and Aishwarya suffered cuts and bruises. Ouch! Well we have to give Ash kudos for her bravery; we just wish she would be more careful!

Good luck to Aishwarya Rai, but i guess you all would agree to me that it’s time Aishwarya Rai should realize that stuntman and stuntwoman have a job and they are there for a reason. Let them do their part from now on and Ash should just concentrate on acting and looking all the more beautiful

Aishwarya Rai had been ill for more than a month. On 11 February ’2010, the 36-year-old beautiful lady had returned home from the sets of the movie due to high fever.

But now she has been recovered and was on a full-day photo shoot on Friday with the actor Akshay Kumar at Film City, for Vipul Shah‘s Action Replayy.

Aishwarya Rai was advised by doctors to take complete bed rest. Apparently, she was suffering from sore throat as well as body pain. So she took rest for a few days, she went to visit Abhishek’s maternal grandmother in Bhopal for her 80th birthday and now she returns back to work. All we can say is that we’re glad she is healthy and fine and back to work

Remember how few days back, her illness raised some questions and rumors came up about Aishwarya having stomach tuberculosis and how it’s effecting her chances of getting pregnant. Well what a crap that was. Seriously..very shameful. But am glad that her hubby, Abhishek Bachchan and her father-in-law, actor Amitabh Bachchan stood with her in those times and showed the world who the real men are. They accused the tabloid for involving in such an irresponsible journalism. Remembering the song now “Stand By My Woman..”.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who doesn’t believe in forgive and forget, has backed out from a dance performance in an award function. Aishwarya Rai is an angry young lady nowadays. And she isn’t in the mood to forget or forgive the tabloid that recently published a report of her having pregnancy problems because of stomach tuberculosis. And i guess we all would agree with her decision. It was not something to be forgiven. So well done Aishwarya…

Sources reveal that the lady is boycotting the award ceremony because the function is associated with the mother company of that same tabloid magazine. The actress was reportedly offered a whopping Rs 85 lakhs for a dance performance. “Main nahi nachhungi (I won’t dance) no matter how strong the lure of lucre”. That’s the message Ash seems to be sending. Aishwarya, who rarely dances at events after her marriage, did agree to this particular function after a lot of consideration. But the moment she came to know that the particular tabloid was involved with the function, she backed out.

Ash is demanding an apology from the tabloid and the whole Bachchan parivar is with her, supporting this decision. She has even mailed the tabloid about the slanderous report and asked for an apology, Abhishek had blasted the daily on Twitter. Even Big B had lambasted the report asking the concerned people for due apology. But no apology has come from the tabloid till now.

It’s not nice to see Angry Aishwarya Rai because she is a doll and not meant to be angry young woman. But i guess the tabloid made a big mistake which they should have realized and apologized for. So hoping some minds at tabloid are mature enough to realize their mistake.

The ever glowing Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai is so much attached to her family relationships, that even though she was not well, she traveled to Bhopal to celebrate her hubby Abhishek Bachchan’s grandmother’s (nani) 80th birthday party.

Long time ago the couple had a made a commitment to Abhishek’s nani (maternal grandmother) to visit to Bhopal for her birthday, this was according to a source close to Aishwarya.

Inspite of having high fever and sore throat from a few days she didn’t let her promise down and she was there to fulfill her promise.

Abhishek posted on his social networking site Twitter that “Aishwarya is much much better, but still not 100 percent (fine). But she’s my nani’s favourite so she made the trip too. Should be back to fighting fit… in a day or two” .

The actor says his grandmother’s expression on seeing both of them was “Priceless”.

Such things make Indian women such graceful and India proud. Aren’t we all glad to be a part of such a country where self interests come after family’s happiness.
