Aishwarya Rai

Aishwarya Rai attended the 162nd edition of the Prix De Diane horse race this past Sunday at Chantilly, France. She was there as the brand ambassador of The Longines. She is in France for a series of events for the Swiss watch brand.

Aishwarya Rai looked extremely gorgeous and yet again, turned heads because of her unique fashion style. Aishwarya looked sophisticated and awesomely beautiful in the peach Elle Saab gown. She topped that with a same colored loose jacket, that added class and sophistication to her looks. But it was the peach colored hat tat did the magic and she looked nothing less than some queen. Well, to be fair, she is already the reigning queen in our hearts.

Aishwarya wore a pair of very beautiful Giambattista Valli 120 deerskin metal ankle cuff sandals. Her make up was more than worth admiring. Shiny glossy lips and a sassy eye-shadow made her look picture perfect from head to toe. And yes, she accessorized herself with a chic watch (obviously of the brand “Longines”) and two rings and a golden bracelet. She kept her hair the natural way and she is just looked awesome throughout. Oh Jesus! I have stopped making sense now. I madly in love with her and my feelings are over powering my speech power. And yet am unable to write much…… sensibly.

Aishwarya Rai did sign autographs for the fans at Prix de Diane horse race. She was admired by everyone. Aishwarya’s mother Mrs. Vrinda Rai is accompanying her at France. It’s being told they will attending various other functions at France, in the next few days. All the rumors about Aishwarya Rai and Kate Winslet comes down to this. Seeing them together, people thought that they will share the screen soon. However it comes out that they will not be going for movie, instead they just finished shooting a commercial for Swiss luxury watch brand, Longines on July 20. The commercial includes our gorgeous beauty Aishwarya Rai, the beautiful Kate Winslet and Taiwanese model Chi Ling Lin.

Aishwarya rai and Kate Winslet are better known as L’Oreal brand ambassadors, which had prompted a large section of the Indian press to report that the two stars would be sharing screen space for a L’Oreal commercial. But that’s not true. Anyways, The new commercial will promote Longines’ DolceVita collection. Kate Winslet has been appointed as Longines brand ambassador recently, however Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Chi Ling Lin have been their ambassadors for pretty long time now!

Aishwarya Rai looked really beautiful in that pleated purple dress. The image on the side is the one she was wearing when she came out filming the whole Longines commercial so i guess that’w how she is going to be in the commercial. And i think all will agree, she looks Oooomph! Magical. Well, i love her anyways, so i can be overwhelmed and over exaggerating at lot many times. But i guess the truth still remains, that she indeed is the most beautiful of all.

I am not sure when this commercial is lined to be televised. I surely wish to see the three girls Aishwarya Rai, Kate Winslet and Chi Ling Lin, together. And that too sooner.

Aishwarya Rai has been the brand ambassador of Longines for a long long time. It has been 10 years now. I recently posted about Aishwarya Rai at Rolland Garros stadium, watching French Open finals, etc etc. It all comes down to this day. Aishwarya Rai was a part of Longines Charity Dinner held in Rodin Museum in Paris, France on 7th June 2010.

Aishwarya Rai presented award to the retired ace tennis player, Gustavo Kuerten at the Longines Charity Dinner. Gustavo Kuerten born September 10, 1976 is a retired former World No. 1 tennis player from Brazil. He won the French Open three times between 1997 and 2001, and was the Tennis Masters Cup champion in 2000. After 12 years on the international tour, he retired from top-level tennis in May 2008. Kuerten was awarded for his work in favor of disadvantaged children. It’s a nice gesture from Longines to hold such Charity events and also award and recognize the people who do such a graceful work on their own.

This is the first time Aishwarya handed the award to someone at Longines Charity Dinner. Earlier this was done by the very famous Steffi Graf and Andre Agassi.

Anyways, Aishwarya looked very very graceful in a Black Elie Saab gown. Deep V neckline gown with a knotted chiffon drape in front….she surely looked pretty awesome. Which she usually do

Oh! Did i mention that there were some other celebrities at the function as well. The beautiful and popular but retired tennis star Stefi Graf was present but i don’t think her hubby and tennis rockstar (retired) Andre Agassi was present this time. Another tennis sensation, the sweet Mary Pierce was also present at the Dinner. Looked like an all tennis charity event to me

Aishwarya Rai now will be heading to some unknown place where she will join Abhishek Bachchan, just for vacations. I believe they are again going to Istanbul, Turkey but seriously not sure… After that the couple will head off to U.S.  for premier of Mani Ratnam’s movie “Raavan” on June 16th. The movie will be released worldwide on 18th June. Really looking forward to the release.

So it seems the two day old mystery finally solved itself. Aishwarya Rai was spotted along with her parents at the Rolland Garros stadium attending the French Open’s men’s final match between 2nd seeded Rafael Nadal and 5th seeded Robin Soldering. As mentioned in earlier post Rafael Nadal won the final in three straight sets, 6-4, 6-2, 6-4.

On 6th June’s post, i was wondering what Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was doing at the Le Village, Rolland Garros stadium. My most probable guess was that she being the brand ambassador of the watch company Longines, and this visit had something to do with it. Honestly, i don’t think Aishwarya even follows this sport. So i wondered. I guess i was right!

On June 6th, during the match between Nadal and Soldering, Aishwarya Rai was among the VIP spectators at the match. She was present with her mum and dad at the occasion. Aishwarya looked like a superstar and she was all i could see. But i still wondered why? And finally Aishwarya took out those cute Japanese folding hand fans which had Longines written over it…and there you go. It was Longines thing afterall. This is no cheap publicity stunt. All starts do it. Anyways, once the mystery was over, i was finally able to rest my mind.

Also present at the finals were Beyoncé Knowles and husband Jay-Z, Guillaume Durand, Patrick Poivre d’Arvor, French footballer Christian Karembeu along with Adriana among various other French celebrities. That’s usually how all grand slam finals go. Anyhow, here are some pics of Aishwarya Rai from the match.

Aishwarya Rai was at Le Village, Rolland Garros stadium in Paris on 5th June’ 2010. It wasn’t a photoshoot, it wasn’t some advertisement thing. It wasn’t anything i know of. My guess would be that it has something to do with Longines promotion or something. Since Aishwarya is the brand ambassador of the company i guess this is related somehow. Probably we will soon find out in near future.

Those who do not know what Rolland Garros stadium is, well it’s the place where one of the grand slams  of lawn tennis “The French Open” takes place. This year Rafael Nadal took the french open cup defeating Soldering in three straight sets. I do not watch women’s lawn tennis match but i guess Serena Williams did take the title this year. Not sure and really don’t care!

Call it the french air magic or Aishwarya Rai’s stunning beauty! She can look awesome always…no matter what the color of her dress. But Oh my God!!! when she wears blue….Oooomph!!!! She takes my breath away….always!

Update: Some guy, who calls himself “SB” and who is even more crazier than me when it comes to sports mentioned, that the facts be corrected for the French Open results. I was right about Rafael Nadal and Soldering’s final and was right about the result as well. However, Serena Williams didn’t take the title. She in fact lost to 7th seeded Samantha Stosur of Australia in Quarter finals. Samantha went into the finals where she faced Italy’s Francesca Schiavone. Francesca won the title in two straight sets. Serena and Venus Williams however did win the Women’s double tournament this year. I hope i made this sports freak named “SB” happy now!
