Directed by S Shankar, the film is the costliest movie made in India to date, with a budget of approximately Rs140 crore and when the movie had its music release in Malaysia a couple of days back, anticipation and anxiousness were running riot about the fate of it.

But it looks like the movie might just justify the reason behind all the hype. Its music has already raced to the top of the world music charts, dismissing the likes of Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Rihanna and even Rahman’s very own Slumdog Millionaire tracks, among other chart busters. This is the first time any Indian film music has topped the charts.

But what’s most interesting about this development is that Rajnikanth is very candid about calling Ash as his best co-star to date. By the sound of it, it looks like Rajnikanth has been charmed by Aishwarya’s beauty and acting prowess.

He says, “There is no other beauty in our generation like Aishwarya Rai and she is a born artist.” He also jests that Ash’s father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan might not be too happy that he is praising his bahu. Hope the other Tamil actresses are listening!

“Endhiran”, one of the most anticipated movie of the year is finally on the verge of completion. It is believed to be one of the most expensive budget movie ever made in India. Well, i hope the film “Endhiran” does a little good and recovers what all has been invested in to it because we have all seen what happened with Mani Ratnam’s “Raavan”. If you do to much publicity and make the fans wait for too long, you tend to raise their expectation from the movie. And when you throw in lines like “Last movie of Rajinikanth” or “The most expensive movie ever”, well you just blow the audience mind. Now, it’s very difficult undoubtedly, for a movie this bug, to rise above the fans expectations. Isn’t it?

Anyways, i must be saying all this because i am really depressed with the outcome of the movie “Raavan”. Not only Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan worked hard for the movie but i worked hard on the news and articles as well. And it all goes down the drain! So, i am better off just quietly writing down the news rather than raising my expectations from the movie. Or probably i shouldn’t be expecting anything from the movies now. Period.

Alright, moving back to the topic. Endhiran is almost completed. In fact, it has a release date now. It’s 3rd of September 2010. However, it’s not official yet.

In words of director, S. Shankar “Well… except one song the whole film shooting is completed. The full edited film has been given to A.R.Rahman for background score and Resul Pookutty for the sound effects. Just waiting to shoot the last song and waiting for computer graphics work of the climax and some important scenes to be completed.” So there we have it, the official statement from the director himself. Hopefully we will soon have an official release date as well.

Where are my manners? I am not even talking about our dearest beloved actress Aishwarya Rai. Well, “Endiran” a.k.a “Robot” stars the most beautiful women Aishwarya Rai and the legendary actor Rajinikanth. I am not sure about the story of the movie but the rumor says that Rajinikanth plays the character of a scientist, who builds a robot for a physically handicapped child, to play with. However, things do not go as planned and the robot goes mad, maniac, out of control machine which stars killing people (like all bad robots do ). So the scientist Rajinikanth has to terminate his creation, the robot. Rumor also has it that Rajinikanth plays the role of both the scientist, as well as the robot. Double role ahaaan? So saving money on one more actor and yet the most expensive movie. LOL. Anyways, what is Aishwarya Rai doing in the movie then? Well, i do not know. I have no clue and no rumors about that particular thing either. Strange, right!!!

What i do know is that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is super gorgeous, the most beautiful women i have come across and that she is looking damn sexy in some still photographs that we have from movie “Endhiran”. I seriously hope this movie does well. I have no love for the movie but just for Aishwarya Rai’s sake. I know how much it hurts when your hard work doesn’t pay off. I have 9 years of hard work gone useless, just like that…. so i really know the extent of hurt. Anyways….i am again moving on to same old topic. Our Beauty Queen, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan continues to turn heads and looks like getting prettier with each passing day.

The latest feather in her cap is the ninth position in a poll of the 100 most beautiful women of today in the July issue of Harpers and Queen.

Coincidentally two years ago the actress had secured exactly the same spot in a similar poll.

Topping the list is Hollywood beauty Angelina Jolie followed by model Christy Turlingron, Queen Rania of Jordon, Director Sofia Copolla and celebrity Chef Nigella Lawson.

“It’s wonderful,” said Aishwarya.

Ash beat actress Scarlett Johanson, singer Beyonce Knowles and supermodel Gisele Bundchen who husband Abhishek was quite a fan of.

“I have the best wife in the world,” says the dotting husband.

Abhishek of course is probably not surprised that she’s beat out the competition after all.
